Alice Betty Harvard
TEN SLEEP -- Funeral services were conducted here recently Alice Betty Harvard
who died in her Carel,
The Rev. R. F. Goff presided. Pallbears were
Byron Breeden, Ralph Breeden, LeRoy Woody, Carl
Williams, Foster Mills, and Golden Alred.
Honorary pallbearers were Archie Jacobs, Arnold Waln,
Harry Mills, Henry Tully, Ed Beckley and Brooks Egbert.
Miss. Harvard was born at the Harvard ranch July 4, 1901, a daughter of Sydney
and Jeanette Harvard. She grew up on the Harvard ranch and attended
country school and high school at Worland.
She taught school in the winters and attended school in summers until she
received her B, A. degree. She taught school at the mountain school above
Big Trails, the Red Bank school and at Popo Agie. After obtaining her master's degree she taught
at
Recently she discovered she was a victim of a serious illness and her niece,
Dorsey Redland, notified her family. Her sisters, Mrs. Nick Geis and Mrs. Richard Redland immediately went to
In addition to Mrs. Geis and Mrs. Redland, she is
survived by five brothers, Clyde Harvard, Frank Harvard, Joe Harvard, Lewis
Harvard and Harry Harvard.
