     WALLA WALLA, Wash. --- Effie "Grace" Ainsworth, formerly of Big Trails, died Saturday, June 17 at Walla Walla, Wash.  She was 95.
     She was born Sept. 30, 1893 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, a daughter of Charlie and Clara Jane Van Syoc Brown.  She was raised at Big Trails where she was active in the Big Trails Seventh-day Adventist Church.
     On Oct. 3, 1912, she married Bert H. Ainsworth during a triple wedding ceremony at Big Trails.  The couple made their home at  Big Trails where she was a Sabbath school teacher and a Dorcas leader.  She had also been a missionary volunteer leader for the church.
     While living in Walla Walla, she was a member of the Walla Walla City Seventh-day Adventist Church and belonged to the Dorcas Society at the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church at College Place, Wash.
     Survivors include one son, Clarence Ainsworth of Rogue River, Ore.; one daughter, Zepha Conners of College Place, Wash.; one brother, Arlo Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter [sister] Edith Ainsworth of Worland; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962.
     A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Walla Walla Seventh-Day Adventist Church.  The service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. at the Ten Sleep Methodist Church, with pastor Gerald Dunn of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Ten Sleep Cemetery.
