Wash. --- Effie "Grace" Ainsworth, formerly of Big Trails, died
Saturday, June 17 at Walla Walla, Wash. She was
95.
She was born Sept. 30,
1893 in
On Oct. 3, 1912, she
married Bert H. Ainsworth during a triple wedding ceremony at Big Trails.
The couple made their home at Big Trails where
she was a Sabbath school teacher and a Dorcas
leader. She had also been a missionary volunteer leader for the church.
While living in Walla Walla, she was a member of the Walla Walla
City Seventh-day Adventist Church and belonged to the Dorcas
Society at the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church at College Place, Wash.
Survivors include one
son, Clarence Ainsworth of Rogue River, Ore.; one daughter, Zepha
Conners of College Place, Wash.; one brother, Arlo Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter [sister] Edith
Ainsworth of Worland; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and nine
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband in 1962.
