J. DeWitt, 55, of Edgerton, formerly of Ten Sleep, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, in

She was born April 6, 1937, in Lovell, the daughter of Edward N. "June" and Margaret "Peg" (Helmer) Mills. She was raised and attended school in Ten Sleep.

marriage, she and her family traveled the western
She worked for the Midway Liquor Store in Edgerton.
Mrs. Dewitt enjoyed camping and being with her family.
Survivors include her husband of Edgerton; three sons, Emery B. of Moorcroft, Everett of Midwest and Gary of Edgerton; her grandmother, Mrs. Lige Thaxton of Ten Sleep; stepfather, M. E. "Slim" Ward of Worland; 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son Gregory in 1988 and her parents.
The service is
scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in the
