Marcella B. Dellos, 80, of Worland, formerly of Ten
Sleep, passed away April 17, 2005 at the
Marcella was born

As times were hard and the family didn't
have that much money, her father told Marcella she would have to work rather
than attend high school. So at a young
age of 14, Marcella went to work as a cook at the
At the age of 18, Marcella met Sam Dellos, who became her husband just a few months later. They were married Jan. 10, 1942. Sam and Marcella lived in Worland for six years where Sam worked for the Dellos family farm and various other farms before moving to Ten Sleep in 1948.
Over the years
Marcella was kept busy busy raising their four
children, Sammie, Gloria, Janice and Victoria.
Sammie was killed in
Marcella's
hobbies included cooking, canning, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She had such beautiful flowers and a
beautiful yard that the Delloses won "yard of
the month" title. Marcella had
always loved children and enjoyed babysitting for several teachers in Ten
Sleep. She enjoyed taking care of three
children, Debbie, Brent and Randy, for Ten Sleep teacher, Shirley Rucki. Marcella was
a Gold Star Mother of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and belonged to the Ten Sleep
Sewing Club. She was also a member of
the
Failing health necessitated Marcella's move to Worland Healthcare in 1992. She joined her husband Sam who had been at the nursing home since 1990. He later died in 1995. Marcella was loved by many of the nurses and staff at Worland Healthcare.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Hazel Wells; sister, Sylvia (Wells) Asbell; two brothers, Eldon and Victor Wells; husband, Samuel Dellos; and her son, Sammie Dellos.
She is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Ed) Skworch of Ten Sleep, Jan (Larry) Warner of Worland, and Victoria Locke of Worland; seven grandchildren, Heidi Hartung of Worland, Howard (Tanja) Hartung of Toledo, Ohio, Tammy Warner of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., Tracy (Scott) Wagner of Missoula, Mont., Holli (Mark) Prociv of Billings, Mont., Jeffrey (Nicole) Lyman of Farson, Nevada, and Kirk Smiley of Sheridan and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be held Thursday, April 21, 11 a.m. at the

Seventh-day Adventist Chruch,
