Mills Family Cemetery - located on the Charles Perry Mills homestead on the Upper Nowood,  State Highway 434, about 30 miles south of Ten Sleep, WY.  Charles Perry Mills and his wife Sarah Sherard Mills and three of Charles’ brothers and wives immigrated to the area from Missouri  in the 1890’s.   Tragedy struck the Mills family in 1900 when four Mills children were taken by Diptheria/Scarlet Fever.  Heartbroken, Charles and Sarah returned to Missouri and never returned to Wyoming.  Thomas Sherman Mills (a brother to Charles) and his wife Drusilla Fitzgerald Mills also lost a child  to the same disease in 1900 and she is buried here with her cousins.
